Putre – Allane Gulch – Suriplaza Hill – Putre
Day 1: Putre/Allane Ravine/Cerro Suriplaza/Putre
Leaving from the town of Putre, we enter the slopes of the "Nevados de Putre" (Taapaca and Ancoma Volcanoes), where we contemplate the horizon from a privileged position. We descend through the magnificent Quebrada de Allane, about 250 meters deep, which allows us to appreciate majestic rock formations that make up impressive canyons, where the Azufre and Colpitas Rivers meet, we can also see the Tacora de Chile (5,988 masl) and Chupiquiña del Peru (5,780 m.a.s.l.) which mix a place of great scenic beauty. During the tour we visit the town of Colpitas, its flora and fauna stand out. We enter the Bofedal de Cosapilla, where llamas and alpacas live, which forms an incomparable landscape style. Arrival at the base camp at a height of 4,750 m.a.s.l. We make a trek in the surroundings that allows us to see the natural splendor of Cerro Suriplaza (5,300 masl) colorful mountains worthy of admiration, return to the town of Putre.
